AT LAST! ADVICE WE CAN USE!
Once upon a time last May l decided to self-publish some of my erotic short stories on Amazon Kindle. The writing part wasn't too difficult as l had been writing for most of my life, and l'd even had one or two of my earlier shorts published by magazines etc. The editing wasn't too bad either, though it still takes me far too long and l have learnt many a lesson along the way. But the publishing? All the different formats? The promoting? I was ok with the computer l suppose but l definitely needed help putting it all together. This help came via a blog called 'The RMC Digital Blog' which is the brainchild of Robert Corrigan.
The Kindle Cash Machine: Do This Right and
You Will Make Money
I suppose if you do anything right you will make money, but after February’s open season on Kindle sellers there are some things that you really need to know if you want to sell on Kindle.
Firstly that it is really easy to do AND to make money doing it…. But, why is there always a but? Amazon is very strict about what they will accept as content so it is important to get your Kindle books complying with the Amazon Terms of Service.
It is easy to fall foul of this and have books removed or your account terminated, this happened to thousands of Kindle sellers last month. The problem duplicate content; too many people uploading the same content.
How has this happened? Well how many e-mails have you had in recent months with some “Guru” selling gigabytes of PLR materials that you can use to compile your own books? Buyers were just uploading compilations of the PLR articles. Result massive amounts of the same content and a very poor customer experience.
The other problem was content that was freely available on the web being sold on Kindle. Amazon don’t like that, result take a sledge hammer to the problem. There is a better way, the way I use to make 800+ sales a month through Kindle.
Revised, expanded and improved “The Kindle Cash Machine” Version 2!
*************************Along with books like the one above, which cover all aspects of self publishing there are several step by step videos which will take you through the whole process! Personally l found these to be really helpful.
Other videos available by Robert cover Amazons print on demand Create-space (which l have used) and information about KDP select and Kindle fire.
There are of course many eBook retailers but Amazon is the largest. I published there first and have been really pleased with the results. Roberts advice gave me the confidence to give it a go in the first instance and l'm really glad l did.
For anyone who is just starting out in the world of self-publishing, and for those of you who would like to try it but don't know where or how to start, l would whole heartedly recommend the books and videos available from this man.
